Radars win streak at 5
The Radars stretched their winning streak to 5 games over the weekend with road wins in Elora and Tavistock.
On Friday in Elora, Sean Consitt lead the Radars to a 4-1 with 2 goals and 1 assist. Max Campbell and Cullen Mercer also scored. Drew Reinhardt had a strong game in goal, making 39 saves.
In Tavistock on Saturday, a short staffed Radars squad (missing 8 regulars) battled hard all night and came home with a 7-4 victory.
Stephen Sanza drove the offence with 3 goals and 2 assists. Campbell, Mercer, Derek Elliott and Tyler Ryan added one goal each. Greg Dodds made 34 saves and picked up his fourth assist of the season.
The Radars have 9 wins and 4 losses through the first two months of the season. A few bumps in the road but all in all, not too bad. Now we finish up with seven of our last nine games on home ice, starting this Friday vs. the undefeated Ripley Wolves. They’ve won 10 in a row and we’ve won 5 straight. Friday night is also our annual Pajama Toss. Join us at 8:30, after the parade.
