In Clinton on Friday, Jan. 17 – with playoffs looming and two extremely important points on the line – the Clinton Radars beat the short-staffed Petrolia Squires 10-4.
Steven Shipley had his first hat-trick as a Radar.
Hard-working forward Derek Elliott chipped in with two goals and single markers came from Max Campbell, Cullen Mercer, Ray Huether, Josh Cornelissen and Stephen Sanza
Clinton outshot the visitors 49-23.
The Radars can still finish anywhere from 3rd to 5th, depending on how it all shakes out.
The Radars (15-6) wrap up their regular season by hosting the Shelburne Muskies (15-4) on Friday, Jan. 24 at 8:30pm.
Playoffs will start the weekend of February 7-8.
